| Baiser D' Amour |

Early 2014 one of my friends invited me to a mastermind group for creatives.
I was in a place in my life that I needed to meet new people. People who were dream chasing. While at the meeting I briefly spoke to Raggs and Rae, the duo behind the dope clothing line Baiser D' Amour.
Mike "Raggs" Ragland, a painter and tattoo artist and Rae Haskins, a working actor, have a pretty impressive resume between the two of them including Art Basel and HBO's television show The Wire.

Over six months later, I was able to get them into the studio for an interview and let me say, not only are these guys super inspiring they are hilarious! Check out the interview below I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed shooting it!

Terry Richardson  is hands down one of my favorite photographers. Sure he gives creepy porn-stash vibes but I love the simplicity of his work. Even if the name doesn't ring a bell immediately I'm sure you've seen his work.
One intense light and his subject, simple.
Now I'm no photographer, but I work very closely with an amazing one, and I harass him for lighting tips often to create Terry Richardson inspired pictures,
I think this is the direction I'll go over the next few months, myself and the light.

|| Current Skincare Regimen ||

Skin Type: Acne Prone
Oily Dehydrated
Mild Hyper pigmentation

Typically I change my skincare regimen if I have a skincare issue or the weather changes but I keep some items in my arsenal at all times. I'm a HUGE fan of the Clarisonic brush. If you currently do not own one get it immediately it's worth all of the hype and the price tag. I've been using it for a few years now and it's ability to exfoliate without irritating my skin is amazing. I wear makeup often and I need every trace of makeup removed by the end of my day, not only does the Clarisonic get the job done it removes dead skin allowing my skincare to work effectively.

Over the Summer Clarins gifted me a few of their products. I'll be honest I've never tried any Clarins products I don't think my eyes even notice a Clarin's counter in department stores. I've always associated them with a well...more mature woman lol I gave one of their top selling products, Double Serum, a try.
Double Serum claims to even your skin tone, reduce wrinkles, and give you firmer skin. The bottle has dual chambers and 20 plant extracts that come together to make your skin healthier. What I've found is that Clarin's Double Serum hydrates my skin giving a healthy glow. I believe it helps my makeup glow but not look oily. I can't say it reduces wrinkles because I don't have any or even my skin tone because I use RetinA (We'll talk more about that in a bit).

Neutrogena Visibly Even moisture is in rotation right now honestly because I found a brand new tube in my room so I figured I'd use it. I love that it has a  SPF 30 and inexpensive. Not to much to say about it, I really just like it for the 30 SPF.

My HOLY GRAIL RetinA *Insert Praise Hands emoji lol* I'm obsessed with exfoliating and achieving the most flawless skin texture I can possibly have. My cousin told me to give tretinoin a try and I've been hooked ever since.
According to Drugs.com RetinA is a form of Vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself. It's claim is to treat acne, even out skin discoloration, and make skin texture smoother. I've experienced all of the above claims. I don't have "acne" just a hormonal breakout here and there, but I rarely see anything now. My skin is evening  out nicely and my skin texture is definitely more even.
The only cons come with using ReitnA is constantly having to avoid the sun when using it. That's why I keep an SPF of 30+ in my arsenal. RetinA also makes you peel like a snake shedding it's skin. I love that it's ridding me of dull skin but if I forget to use my Clarisonic you'll see flaky skin with makeup over it -__-
While their are products on the market with Retinol or RetinA in them, tretinoin (what I use) can only be purchased from a dermatologist.

If you were following my old blog you know my daily facial cleanser is organic honey. I've been using it for years. Its a humectant meaning it draws moisture to the skin. Although my skin is oily its very dehydrated so I need moisture. I'm not a big fan of commercial cleansers but I think I'll go back to the oil cleansing method soon and will post about it in the future.

I really don't want to love Clarin's Super Restorative Moisturizer but I do. Again I was gifted a full size jar of this moisturizer from Clarins and immediately fell in love with how rich it was but it doesn't sit on top of the skin, it penetrates deeply and hydrates very well. I wish it had sun protection but it doesn't so I usually use if I'm going out at night or before bed. Now after I fell in love with it I checked out the price tag and well....no. I can't commit to the $122 price tag. I'm on my second jar but I think this may be the last jar and I'll post its replacement.
